Addiction to art story from 06
I watched ‘before sunset’ today, I am such a hopeless romantic, when is a woman going to come into my life and sweep me off my feet? I also watched the blues greats dvd which I bought from a record store for $2. I feel really good today, even though I am flat broke I have no money, I had a $4 breakfast for lunch, and skipped breakfast, bought a $2 movie, and hired two films from blockbuster for $7 and it occupied me for a day. Tonight I am going to Trash Video film night (cost $2).
If you think this all sounds very lazy, then you can go fuck yourself, because its my first day off in weeks, and it feel great, but I am also a zombie despite getting my first good nights sleep in a while. The coffee pots on.
I have also been slaving over Kat Flint’s London Lullaby. I love myspace sooo much, I don’t care if its not trendy to love something like myspace. But I have new people discovering my music every day, so my fan base has double since I signed up, and I find great musicians, which are unknown to Australia(Like Kat, and Kurt .
I also have realized that radio sux, passive exsorbtion (this is not I word I know) of art and music and film and tv, will hopeful die though the internet, and we can actively go out and find the music to fill our perspective mp3 players with.
This is one of those lovely dim Australian Autumn days where the temperature is just right, and there is nothing to do apart from sip black coffee and feel inspired.
Today is a good day.
